To warn you all now, this may sound a tad cynical, and make me sound very stuck up, but here is a news flash.

I don't care.

I live in a city that I remember to be nice, full of people to love, to pray with an who made me glad to go to church every sunday, where I remember my best friend and I hanging out, watching movies, playing videogames, dating girls, like we were eachother's wingman, and that was the reason I was so upset when I left.

Now? I can count all the friends who DIDN'T get into drugs on one hand, out of the 20+ I had. That upsets me. Everytime I'm working a closing shit at Walgreens, I see the people from the trailer park, funny smelling, reaking of booze and weed, and always willing to steal something that isn't nailed down. That upsets me even more. But what upsets me the most? The fact that my best friend is never around, the reason I moved to this god forsaken place, and he is never even god damn around, and I'm left, sitting here on the computer covering his ass to the point that now his mother who let me into their home to begin with, doesn't trust me. I'm so sick of this wave of distrust. I may be a naive person, but I will forever live in that naive world rather than distrust every living soul I come to meet on my road called life.

So now I count the days, crossing them off on my little calender until I can get the hell out of here and go back to my family, for even though they aren't perfect, I can say for certain that there is a bond of trust there that I have missed these last 6 months I have lived in the state I grew up in, and come to understood that this place is no longer my home. My home is where my family is, and I can't wait to see them again.
